As a classroom math teacher in an urban setting, I always worked very hard to deliver curriculum in a variety of ways. I have learned a great deal from the students themselves.
Giving them the opportunity to come up with their own strategies has helped me to develop ways of helping them learn. I have taken this experience to begin working with EdFOCUS to create viable curriculum from the common core math standards.
